I could not be happier with this purchase. In fact, I haven't been this satisfied with a purchase in a long time. I'm not exaggerating. In the busy holiday season purchased this in the nick of time and paid extra for fast shipping then I got an email that it would arrive AFTER Christmas. I sent an email to customer service about how I was disappointed I paid extra for fast shipping for no reason and not only did I get a response, it was a quick response and personal and professional and kind. They looked into it and actually it was going to make it in time. The gift was my favorite item of the shopping season - excellent quality, more beauitful than the pictures do it justice. Softer. I did a lot of research on which kind to get and The NYTimes The Wired was right again - this one is the best. I was hesitant to splurge but am so glad I did. Worth every penny.

Years ago I switched from a goose down comforter to down-alternative and missed the weight of the goose. My sister suggested a weighted blanket so I started using weighted throws which gave me the perfect amount of additional weight. I recently moved to a warmer climate and was hunting for something a little more breathable and found Bearaby! I bought the 10lb cloud white and am SO happy with it! First of all it's the perfect shade of off-white. The knit is so much more breathable than solid blankets while also providing weight. The knit design allows it to mold around your body (like the perfect hug!) instead of sitting on top holding hot air in. Bearaby recommends not using it with a comforter but I have no problem with it (heavier blanket owners may disagree!). I do STRONGLY recommend putting your blanket in the dryer for multiple rounds on the FLUFF setting (air only, no heat). It did have a scent when I got it but more importantly when I pulled it out of its bag a huge puff of fabric dust came out with it. The lint trap on my dryer confirmed this. All and all absolutely worth the investment!

My husband has been sleeping with this blanket every night since he opened it on his birthday. He has high anxiety and tends to have difficulty falling and staying asleep. Since using the blanket, he no longer has difficulty with falling and staying asleep. It also seems like he's getting a much deeper sleep. He loves the blanket, including the look of it. It's a pretty looking blanket. It's natural cotton, as opposed to some horrible, unbreathable, artificial fiber filled with glass balls. I feel like I made the right purchase. If you're in the market for a weighted blanket, I'd definitely recommend a Bearaby. There's nothing else like it and you really can't beat a natural fiber blanket during the heat of summer.

I have some mild anxiety frame time to time and often rears it's ugly head during the sleeping hours. This blanket has reduced the anxiety down by 80% or so...it is quite amazing. Also, I tend to overheat and have issues with getting the right temperature while sleeping but this breathable but soothing napper has solved that. I've added a comforter for colder winter nights and a simple sheet during summer to supplement the Napper. Even my pup can't get enough and snuggles deeply in it! The fabric is so soft and you can tell the material and we've of the Napper is high quality. Will be purchasing more products soon!

It took comparing two weights to get it right, but now that I have, I want this thing all the time! I think that even though I am carrying a bit of extra weight right now, I am still basically a petite-framed person at 5'3"". The fifteen pound blanket did feel nice, but on nights when my restless legs were bad, I was too aware of the weight of it when I tried to rollover. This would cause me to become completely awake, struggling against the blanket. The ten pound blanket is just right. Heads up: the 10 pound blanket is shorter than the other weights. This might be an issue for taller persons. So perhaps height and body frame should be taken into consideration, as well as a person's weight. It is also worth mentioning that the construction of the blanket does truly allow for ventilation, so that you do not become overheated as the blanket warms up. In fact, on cooler nights, I have found myself needing an extra lightweight cotton blanket. Only time will tell what I need to pair with it during cold winter months, but that is a much easier fix for me than having a weighted blanket that is too heavy to sleep under when it is warm. I am thankful that the blanket's first function is weight and not warmth. And due to Bearaby's special fabric and construction, they seem to have nailed that part. I am a very satisfied customer.

When deciding on which Bearaby to order, I ended up going with the cotton napper since I liked the colors more than the tree napper. The cotton napper is too hot for some summer nights (I'm a hot sleeper), but otherwise I love it. It is super soft and comfortable, and it helps me fall asleep within 10 minutes. Before I purchased the Bearaby, I was going through a phase where it was taking me about an hour to fall asleep due to restless leg syndrome. I purchased the Bearby for myself, but my husband keeps borrowing it for naps and for wrapping himself in it when we watch TV in the evening. I think we'll be buying another one soon!

I have restless leg syndrome and I haven't had a decent night's sleep in years. I usually end up roaming the house during the night, dozing in chairs or on the couch. I tried other weighted blankets, but they slide around and the glass beads all end up in one lump. The Bearaby Napper, on the other hand, evenly distributes the weight and stays in place. It does help me sleep much better. I didn't use any break in time. Just used it all night. It isn't cheap but it is super high quality so I understand the price point. Highly recommended.

As a retired mental health professional in my late 70's, I can't believe I didn't discover the efficacy of a weighted blanket sooner. After my doctor ruled out medical reasons for my complaint of feeling tired most of the time, I was convinced that I wasn't resting well at night. I found myself getting heavy blankets out to cover me even though it's summer here in Florida! As I often do, I decided to do some research & came up with articles on how weighted blankets may improve sleep quality. I linked that theory to my recent use of heavy blankets. My next step was to research the various types of weighted blankets & decided I liked the idea of a cotton knit. Being a well seasoned knitter, I then searched for patterns & yarns but soon concluded that to knit one in the luxury yarn & size I wanted, that would equal 10 percent of my body weight turned out to be too difficult for me to figure out. Reviews also commented that DIY cost about as much as buying one. After eliminating brand after brand I came upon Bearaby, specifically the Cotton Napper. I have been sleeping under it's evenly distributed weight now for the past couple of weeks, & I cannot believe the difference it has made. I've been experiencing a deeper & more restful sleep, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT & I no longer get up in the morning feeling extremely fatigued, that's life changing for me. Thank you for my beautiful Bearaby cotton Napper.
