We’ve cracked the secret to better sleep! Our limited edition, joyfully stylish weighted blanket, the Naplette, is handmade out of organic cotton to bring a pop of playful design to your favorite resting spot.

Weighted blankets have been medically proven to aid naturally deeper sleep cycles. The weight on your body stimulates the production of serotonin (the happy hormone), reduces cortisol (the stress hormone), and increases melatonin, which helps you fall (and stay) asleep.

Our chunky knit Naplette helps you feel calmer, improve your mood, and sleep better, naturally.

Materials

Soft, sustainable fabric is the only thing inside our blanket to give it weight.

Our organic long-staple cotton is pre-washed for buttery softness – just like your favorite T-shirt.

OEKO-TEX® 100 and Fairtrade International certified.

100% GOTS-Certified organic cotton.

A healthier choice for your home and the environment: organic cotton uses up to 90% less water than conventional farming methods and is free from harmful chemicals, pesticides, synthetics, or artificial softeners.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 ensures this product is safe for your family, the people who manufactured it and the environment.

Care

Wash separately in cold water, on a delicate or permanent-press cycle, using mild or eco-friendly detergent. Tumble dry on low.

Avoid fabric softeners and bleach.

Note: your Cotton Napper may take more than one cycle to be fully dried. Avoid hanging your Napper to dry – it'll stretch out its lovely loops. Avoid top-loading washing and drying machines.

Your Cotton Napper comes with a natural cotton dust bag that makes it easy to store, wash, or take along.

i love this blanket! definitely worth the money. i love how breathable it is! if I'm cold i can layer another blanket underneath but it really does a great job at providing a comforting weight without making you overheat. i also love that the blanket is weighted by the yarns themselves as opposed to being filled with pellets. it's a lot more quiet and the weight stays evenly distributed.

How do weighted blankets work?

Science shows that sleeping under weight improves sleep quality, lowers stress, and eases anxiety – and when those things are better, everything’s better!

Here’s a breakdown of the science that lies underneath our cozy and calming Nappers:

What are the health benefits of weighted blankets?

The most significant health benefits of weighted blankets include improved sleep and reduced feelings of anxiety and stress.

The benefit of a heavy knit blanket is the even weight distribution, which helps to extend the comfort of Deep Touch Pressure (DTP) to your full body.

What is the ideal weighted blanket weight?

The recommended weighted blanket weight is 10% of your body weight. For someone who weighs 150 pounds, your best bet is the 15 lb weighted blanket. For someone closer to 200 lbs, we recommend our 20 lb blanket.

If you’re in-between weights, we recommend rounding down to the lower weight option. Our Nappers are available in 10, 15, 20, and 25 lb weight options.

We also carry 5 and 7 lb weighted blankets, the Nappling, designed especially for kids.

How do you wash a woven weighted blanket?

Our Nappers are machine washable!

Make sure to check your washing machine’s weight capacity before washing your Napper. Our delightfully heavy blankets are great for deep sleep, but it’s essential to check beforehand if the washing machine model you have can bear the full weight of your blanket.

What is the difference between the Cotton Napper and the Tree Napper?

It’s simple: if you like it cozy, usually don’t get overly hot at night, share the bed with a furry friend, and you want a Napper you can use all year round – the Cotton Napper is for you.

If you tend to sleep hot and often find yourself waking up feeling a bit sweaty every night – the Tree Napper is your new best friend.

Our original Cotton Napper is made from 100% sustainably-farmed cotton. Our Tree Napper is made of TENCEL™, a fiber made from the wood pulp of trees grown and replaced on specialized tree farms. Our TENCEL™ comes from eucalyptus wood pulp, making it extra cooling and completely biodegradable.

While the Cotton Napper and Tree Napper both have the same braided blanket design, they’re made with different materials to suit different snuggle preferences.

Does this Bearaby weighted blanket contain beads, pellets, or polyester inside?

No, our Cotton Napper is weighted entirely by layers of hand-knit organic cotton. There is no separate inner layer, synthetic fill, or bead weight — only breathable, natural cotton designed for comfort all year round.
