The Cuddling is a satisfyingly squashy bolster pillow that provides support and comfort for the back, knees, neck, and shoulders. It’s ergonomically designed and molds to your body shape, melting away tension.

From bedtime slumber to workday comfort, the Cuddling can help relieve pressure anywhere, anytime. It can be used as a bolster pillow for neck or knee support, a travel pillow for on-the-go alignment, or a lumbar pillow for lower back pain.

The responsive natural Melofoam™ in our Cuddling provides soft, satisfyingly squashy support that doesn’t fall flat. This breathable, plant-based material cradles the shape of your body to create a comfortable resting spot.

The Cuddling doesn’t compromise on comfort or style. Every Cuddling comes with a removable, GOTS-certified 100% organic cotton cover, available in five classic colorways to help you rest in coordinated comfort!

Materials

The Cuddling is made from our innovative GOLS-certified Melofoam™, which is a satisfyingly squashy, all natural latex foam. It’s made by tapping sap directly from organic hevea trees in Sri Lanka, which is collected in coconuts and gently steamed to produce a spongey, airy foam. The entire process is completely natural and the rubber trees live for decades. Any waste (like water and the coconut husks used to collect the sap) is reused in the farming process to help new trees to grow.

The responsive Melofoam™ Cuddling bolster pillow is encased in a removable, washable, GOTS-certified organic cotton cover. Our Melofoam™ is made with ≥95% Certified Organic, CU 886652.

OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 ensures this product is safe for your family, the people who manufactured it and the environment. We never use any harmful chemicals or pesticides when growing materials or making our products, so you can rest easy knowing that you’re cuddling up with the next best thing to nature.

The Cuddling’s inner Melofoam™ won’t come into direct contact with your skin during daily use, but if you’re sensitive to natural rubber materials, it’s best to check in with your allergist before snuggling up.

Care

We recommend washing the Cuddling Cover cold with similar colors using mild detergent. Tumble dry low and warm iron if required. Do not bleach.

I love, love, love this pillow! It’s perfect for the lumbar when sitting, but I accidentally discovered that it’s even better for spine alignment when I’m sleeping. I have sciatica and am always uncomfortable, but the Cuddling has actually been really helpful in alleviating a lot of that discomfort. Comfortable and versatile

I love this little pillow! I use it when reading, lounging, and sleeping. It’s comfortable supporting my head, between my knees, snuggling between my arms, and sitting on my lap to prop up a book. The cover is very soft.

I also have the extra long Cuddler body pillow from Bearaby and love that one too. If they make a size in between the Cuddler and the Cuddling, I would definitely order one! Something around 48” in the same material would be an amazing addition to my collection.

Perfect for my trip with lower back issues

I have lower back issues and had to take a long flight in economy (5+ hours) so was looking for a lumbar support pillow. I picked the cuddling because I saw it could also be used as a bolster which I could use throughout my trip since I wasn't sure about all my sleeping accommodations. It was great on the flight, in hotel chairs for lumbar support, and great as a bolster to align hips while sleeping. Made my trip a lot more comfortable!

What is a bolster pillow?

A bolster pillow is a versatile cushion that supports your body at any time of day. It holds the weight of your neck, knees, back, or shoulders as you rest on it, which alleviates pressure and helps to reduce joint pain.

Side sleepers can hold a bolster pillow between their arms to support the head and neck, while back sleepers can place a bolster pillow under their knees to prevent lower back pain. Bolster pillows can also be used for lumbar support while seated in a chair or couch, or as armrests while typing. They can even be used as a prop for practicing yoga!

You can use the Bearaby Cuddling at night or during the day, and experiment with different ways of curling up to see what feels the most comfy. It’s a great cylinder pillow for back sleepers, and its compact size means you can carry it with you as a travel pillow. It’s sure to bring excellent snuggles wherever you go!

What is the Bearaby Cuddling bolster pillow made of?

Our Cuddling is about as natural as it gets. It’s filled with satisfyingly squashy Melofoam™, which is a responsive foam made from sap tapped directly from rubber trees in Sri Lanka. The sap is collected in coconuts and gently steamed to form a bouncy, breathable foam. It’s a completely zero-waste process, and our Cuddling is fully biodegradable and compostable. Melofoam™ is also GOLS-certified, which means it’s completely organic, socially responsible, and traceable through every step of the supply chain.

Our Cuddling Covers are made of GOTS-certified organic, long-staple cotton that has been pre-washed for buttery softness – just like your favorite t-shirt. We are committed to using only 100% organic cotton from India as it makes a better life for the people who grow it, and a better product for the people who use it. Organic cotton also uses 90% less water than conventional farming methods, so it’s kinder to the planet, too.

What is a bolster pillow used for?

Bolster pillows can be round or rectangular, but they’re generally a long cylindrical shape, smaller than a body pillow and larger than an accent pillow.

People often use bolster pillows for extra bedtime support in addition to a traditional rectangular pillow. Knee bolster pillows are especially popular with back sleepers because they help remove stress from the lower back and hips.

Bolster pillows are also a common comfy addition to everyday seating, adding snuggly dimension to couches or armchairs. Can a bolster pillow be used for yoga?

Bolster pillows are commonly used during yoga practice to create an extra lift that makes certain poses more comfortable. To meet different needs, yoga bolster pillows come in a variety shapes, sizes, and firmness levels.
